- Variety of ambitious shots

EBI:

3) Now reflect on your work and write your own summary of the comments and feedback you have received. Write three WWWs and three EBIs.

WWW: Overall I am happy with my work as it met the requirements of the task and I was able to tell a narrative given the little amount of time and lack of dialogue. I think that there was a good variety of camera shots, good variety of camera angles, and I am proud for using the shot reverse shot technique in my work.

EBI: If I were to complete this task again I would make sure to label the camera movements, check over some of the shots labelled and focus on editing to give it a smoother ending.

4) Learner response: think about what you learned about cinematography making the video and also watching others. What will you do differently when you start the coursework in the summer? What tips or tricks have you learned from others that you can use next time? Are there any specific aspects of camerawork that you need to revise or practice?

Through this task, I learned multiple things about putting the knowledge of cinematography to practice. By pushing myself to communicate a narrative I learnt how cinematography can be utilised within storytelling, including characterisation. When I start the coursework in the summer, I will pay attention to and plan out what types of shots I use as they are vital to storytelling. Another aspect I would like to focus on is using colour and composition to make more purposeful camera shots.
